Return, Exchange & Warranty Policy


Return Policy

  • All received goods are subject to a 20% restocking fee if returned within 7 days from the delivery or pick-up date. Items must be free of physical damage and returned in the same condition as originally sold (exceptions may apply).
  • Non-returnable items: mattresses, bedding accessories, gaming consoles, cell phones, computers, headphones, special-order items, and “As-Is” merchandise.
  • Daniel’s Home Center (DHC) reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges of items that are not in original condition due to negligence or misuse.
  • If returned items must be picked up from your home, a delivery and pick-up fee apply.
  • Returned items are inspected upon receipt. Credits or refunds are issued for the purchase price of the returned item(s); taxes are refunded per state law. Shipping, delivery, and handling charges are non-refundable (except for damaged or defective merchandise). Once items are received and processed, refunds are typically issued within 10 business days.
  • Proof of purchase (sales receipt or order confirmation) is required. Any visible damage or missing parts must be reported within 48 hours of delivery or pick-up.
  • Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and complete with accessories and reasonable packaging. Refunds are issued to the original form of payment when possible.
  • When home pick-up is required, pick-up fees apply separately from delivery fees.
  • Online purchases follow the same guidelines as in-store sales. All web-order communications are handled by the Web Sales Department, while warranty or service-related matters are routed through Customer Service. Availability and response times for web inquiries follow the standard hours listed on the company website.

Exchange Policy

  • Exchanges for defective items are accepted within 14 days of ownership and must be initiated through the Customer Service Department.
  • Reselections on regular-stock items incur a 20% restocking fee and an additional delivery fee.
  • No exchanges are accepted on mattresses, bedding accessories, gaming consoles, cell phones, computers, headphones, special-order items, or “As-Is” merchandise — all sales are final.
  • If an exchange requires home pick-up, an additional delivery and pick-up fee applies.
  • You must contact us within 14 days of receiving the item(s); the pick-up date must not exceed 21 days from receipt. Failure to schedule or provide the item within these timeframes will void eligibility.
  • For appliances or electronics, any exchange or reselection must first be authorized through Customer Service or the Service Department after confirming the item’s condition. Items picked up by the customer may require a brief in-store or warehouse inspection to verify eligibility. This ensures manufacturer-related issues are handled properly before replacement or approval.
  • Certain appliance categories — such as air conditioners (A/C units) — are final sale and covered only under the manufacturer’s warranty.

As-Is Items

  • “As-Is” items carry no manufacturer warranty and cannot be returned or exchanged after 48 hours of ownership.
  • All As-Is items must be picked up within 48 hours of purchase; otherwise, the order is subject to cancellation.

Manufacturer Limited One-Year Warranty

  • Manufacturers provide a limited one (1) year warranty against defects in workmanship and functionality, effective from the date of delivery.
  • Coverage includes defective parts, materials, and labor; customers are responsible for delivery or transportation costs.
  • Items priced below $399 are covered for 90 days under the same terms.
  • All warranty claims and exchanges must be initiated through the Customer Service Department.
